WASHINGTON- Rep. Paul Cook (R- Apple Valley) voted to rein in the growing problem of executive overreach and restore a constitutional separation of powers. HR 427, the Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act, better known as the REINS Act, passed the House of Representatives today.
WASHINGTON- Today, Rep. Paul Cook (R- Apple Valley) voted for HR 3009, the Enforce the Law for Sanctuary Cities Act. This bill cuts off specific federal grants for sanctuary cities, states, and localities that defy federal immigration law.
WASHINGTON- Today, Rep. Paul Cook (R- Apple Valley) introduced HR 3176, the Protecting Our National Parks Act. This bill will punish those who vandalize our National Parks and other National Park Service land.
