Rep. Cook Issues Statement on Charlottesville
Washington - Rep. Paul Cook (R-Apple Valley) issued the following statement on the violence that occured in Charlotesville this past weekend:
"My prayers are with those that were injured in the violence and with the family of the woman who was murdered. I condemn in the strongest terms all of the actions by extremists, including those in Charlottesville, who spread hatred and perpetrate violence against their fellow Americans. Members of white supremacy groups do not represent America, and the views they espouse stand contrary to our core American values. Their actions should not be tolerated in any form."
