A Message from Congressman Cook: It's Time to Secure Our Borders
WASHINGTON – Rep. Paul Cook (R-Apple Valley) responded to the announcement that U.S. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel will step down. Hagel has served as Secretary of Defense for nearly two years.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Paul Cook (R-Apple Valley) joined Rep. Paul Gosar (R- AZ) in introducing legislation to create a new program to reward American allies in the Global War on Terror. This program will provide a $5,000,000 cash reward to individuals providing information leading to the capture of any person involved with the kidnapping and murder of American citizens.
"I’m disappointed that President Obama has again chosen unilateral action rather than working with Congress. The message in this last election was clear: the American people want the President and Congress to work together. This appears to have fallen on deaf ears with President Obama.
WASHINGTON- Today, Rep. Paul Cook (R-Apple Valley) voted in favor of H.R. 4795, the Promoting New Manufacturing Act. This bill helps businesses comply with new or revised air quality standards from the EPA and will reduce delays in the preconstruction permitting process for new factories and expansion projects.

Congressman Cook Votes To Construct Keystone Pipeline
Congressman Cook voted in favor of H.R. 5682, a bill to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline. This bill passed the House of Representatives with bipartisan support.
WASHINGTON– Rep. Paul Cook (R-Apple Valley) today responded to the comments made by Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel on his recent visit to the National Training Center at Fort Irwin.
WASHINGTON, DC – Rep. Paul Cook (R-Apple Valley) announced that HR 5331 passed in the House of Representatives today. The bill renames the facility located at 73839 Gorgonio Drive in Twentynine Palms as the “Colonel M.J ‘Mac’ Dube, USMC Post Office Building. Cook introduced the legislation in July, after Dube passed away in April 2014.
